Late summer it really starts to pop! Most of my work is based on memory of places and how they make me feel. I love the life in the heather, sometimes we go up to sit and watch for birds of prey. I often find rest and energy in the expansive landscapes. The more dramatic the sky the more invigorating and lifegiving the scenery is. Often, I paint to connect with myself. My abstract landscapes reflect both the environments I visit and the emotional landscapes I face as a woman with ADHD. I’m dealing with my own Kathy.
